With January coming to a close, we turn our sites and lenses in a new direction. Next month, we will be bringing you shots from the expansive Guild Wars 2 world of Tyria. The prompts below did not lend themselves as well to Skyrim as they do to this MMORPG. Your guide for February is our intrepid explorer, Sali Forth. Despite what you may think, she was not named after the comic strip character but rather the semi-archaic phrase, sally forth, meaning to leave a place in a brave and confident manner.

Skyrim is home to large lakes and inland seas. Good fishing and peaceful mornings.

Dwemer ruins are a dangerous place for the living. But the treasures within are worth the risk.

Along the northern frozen coast, a stone lighthouse stands. A bonfire is lit within.

Exhaustion can be found throughout the land. People are weary of the war.

Hunters have the best life. Horses are their constant companion.

Across the river, the saber cat prepared to charge. I stand my ground.

The land teams with wild animals. Most are friendly or frightened of me, but now and then, I am set upon by wolves, saber tooth cats, or angry goats.
