January Prompt ~ Beige

by SAB Travels, Virtual Photography
Centered in the image is a brazier with a fire. It illuminates the walls of the tomb, showing intricate carvings and symbols. To the left, the hallway continues into the unknown distance. To the right is a sarcophagus.

Within the Bleak Falls Barrow, everything is beige, gray, and green. Down a hallway, in which all the walls are carved with runes and symbols, sits a braizer, the fire welcoming in the cold stone tomb.

January Prompt ~ Empty Bottle

by SAB Travels, Virtual Photography
On the edge of a cliff trail a yellow bottle has been overturned. Below the cliff, a river valley and pine forest beckon.

Upon exiting the Bleak Falls Barrow, I came upon a forgotten potion bottle. Below me, lay the valley and the road back to Riverwood.

January Prompt ~ I Wish I Could Touch

by SAB Still Life, Virtual Photography
A fire glowing in a horn candle surrounded by fish, bread, and cheese at a table in Skyrim.

A sumptuous feast was laid before me, but all the food belonged to another, and I could not touch.

January Prompt ~ Swashbuckling

Image shows a viking-like ship moored in a wintry port. The sails are furled and the sailors are at rest.

In the wintry port of Dawn Star a pirate crew waits for the weather to break.

January Prompt ~ Home is Where the Heart Is

by SAB Travels, Virtual Photography
The first home you can earn in Skyrim is Breezehome in the center of the city. Image shows the outer wall and a garden of pink and blue flowers.

Wandering is grand but returning home to a flowering garden is love.

January Prompt ~ Greed

by SAB Still Life, Virtual Photography
Image shows a corner of a room in a Skyrim house. There are cracked plaster walls and a blue-glass window with light streaming in. On a table in the center of the picture is a potion, two pitchers, an iron ingot, a bottle of wine and two fancy goblets of pewter.

Don’t let the plaster walls fool you. This house hosts the richest family in the town. Sneaking in proved to be very worth the risk.

January Prompt ~ Sacred Building

by SAB Landmarks, Virtual Photography
The Temple of Kynareth at night. It is a large wooden building with steep sloped roof and pillars marking the 12 points of a star.

Weary from the road, you can always find comfort at the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun.

January Prompt ~ Dusty Museum

by SAB Virtual Photography
Image shows a wooden longhouse, common in Skyrim, that is closed to the public. Within, untouched, lies a dusty museum.

My travels took me to Dawnstar, and the fabled museum of the Mythic Dawn. Alas, it was closed to the public at this time.

January Prompt ~ Hidden Weapon

by SAB Still Life, Virtual Photography
Image shows a battle ax lying on a chest in a corner of a room. There are books nearby

Scouring the town, it took forever to find a weapon I could lay my hands on. There it was, hidden in plain sight, forgotten in the corner of a disused room.
