Watching a rooster hunt, you can feel its dinosaur ancestors brooding.

They were not happy to see me but they did smile for the camera!

Somehow during my travels, I managed to pick up a baby turtle. It will grow in size and power, given time.

The Journeykin war beasts enjoy a good nap, just like any other cat.

March has started with a bang! Roaring white lions all over the yard are slowly melting away and they will soon give way to spring. Meanwhile, we are pacing, waiting for the time and weather to change.


We were snowed in this past week, like so many others! We spent part of the time going through our photos from last spring. Our trip to San Diego was fantastic! Of course, as animal lovers, we just had to see the Zoo and Sea World! We are hoping to get out more as the weather turns but I think we have one more good storm coming. Here’s to thinking of sunshine, amazing places and good times.
